Much more than just cutting
The new CNC-machining centre HPR 3000 Linear allows the complete machining of any desired contour as well as the routing of drill holes and threads. Thus the workpiece can be entirely machined in one single process. Moreover two heads are used at the same time which work independently from one another and can access their own tool changing system. The use of new lightweight materials guarantees highest dynamic. The material supply is an essential aspect when talking about the efficiency of a machine.
The HPR 3000 is designed for plates of aluminium (up to 20mm), plastics and composites (up to 40mm). For exact adjustment the raw plate floats on an air cushion and is then fixed over a large area by a vacuum clamping system - a technique that does not cause any surface damages and makes even smallest parts stay reliably in their position.
