The UNIVERS can be equipped with a cardanic working head or with a fork head for 5-axis machining. Current-controlled routing spindles, with different power ratings, achieve excellent machining volumes. Passage tables, machines with two movable gantries or two separate Y-axes in the gantry are just some examples of custom configurations that are possible.
In order to have the right tool for each machining task, different automatic tool changing systems with magazine plates are available. The wide range of acceptable tool geometry means that state-of-the-art tool technology can be fully utilised. Depending on the equipment, tools up to 350mm diameter and saw blades up to 400mm can be inserted.
